Steve Maclin Reveals He Would "Love To Stay" In TNA, Confirms Contract Expires Soon

Steve Maclin confirms contract is expiring soon, but he wants to remain with TNA

It was reported recently that Steve Maclin’s contract with TNA Wrestling was coming up in May, and the man himself has now confirmed this to be true, with no new deal agreed to yet. However, Maclin has stated that he is happy to be in TNA and wants to continue his time there, as noted in an interview with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone.

“I know my deal’s up in May with TNA. I would love to stay. I’ve let management know that I’ve been enjoying my time here and loving my time here. But it’s one of those things where if it’s gonna come down to a choice on what’s going to be best for me and my family. So right now, I am focused more or less on just this Friday in Windsor. I’m taking it one match at a time, but I know that I have a lot to prove as well for them to come back at me with an offer to stay, so that’s on me.”

Maclin has been signed to TNA Wrestling since back in 2021 following his release from WWE. His wife, Deonna Purrazzo, recently parted ways with TNA to join AEW, though Maclin doesn’t seem interested in following suit.
