Steve Maclin Ruled Out Of IMPACT Slammiversary

Steve Maclin's injury means he is out of Slammiversary

IMPACT Wrestling’s upcoming edition of Slammiversary on July 15 has been dealt with a big blow, as former IMPACT World Champion Steve Maclin has been ruled out of the event via an injury, the company has announced on their website, with the following words by Santino Marella.

“First and foremost, everyone at IMPACT Wrestling wishes Steve Maclin a full and speedy recovery. Whoever Bully Ray brings aboard as his new tag team partner will step into a violent fight, that’s for sure. PCO is fearless and nearly unstoppable; Scott D’Amore is bent on revenge against Bully Ray, so any new partner for Bully Ray also will feel the wrath of D’Amore and his 30 years of pro wrestling knowledge.”

As noted, Maclin was supposed to team up with Bully Ray to take on the team of PCO and Scott D’Amore in a big grudge bout. Maclin picked up an injury at IMPACT Down Under, leaving a gap on Bully Ray’s side. His new partner is set to be announced on Busted Open Radio tomorrow (Monday July 10).
