Steven Borden - the son of Sting - is set to perform at his first-ever independent wrestling event.

Fightful Select has reported that Borden will be in action at DEFY AEON on Friday, November 21 at Seattle's Washington Hall. Borden is scheduled to go one-on-one with Kiran Grey, who has also been trained to wrestle by Darby Allin.

Borden's match has since been confirmed by DEFY Wrestling. Other matches scheduled for DEFY AEON include Bryan Keith vs. Cody Chhun for the DEFY World Championship and The Righteous vs. Midnight Heat.

Steven Borden has been training to wrestle since 2024, having caught the wrestling bug after his cameo as Wolfpac Sting in Sting's retirement match at AEW Revolution 2024. Borden's early training saw him live in a tent in Darby Allin's garden and train in a ring at the AEW talent's home.

Borden had previously been uninterested in a career in pro wrestling, with Darby noting ahead of Revolution that neither of Sting's sons wanted to wrestle full-time.

Borden recently had his first match at an art show in New York City, where he teamed with JD Drake in a loss to Darby Allin and Killer Kross.
