Sting & Darby Allin To Challenge For AEW World Tag Team Titles

It’s official; Sting & Darby Allin are challenging for the AEW World Tag Team Titles

Darby Allin & Sting are the most dominant tag team in All Elite Wrestling history to have never held gold, but the undefeated duo are set to finally get a shot at the title when they take on AEW World Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks & Big Bill.

Sting is set to wrestle his last ever professional wrestling match at AEW Revolution on March 3, but fans have long cried out that ‘The Stinger’ and Darby are owed a tag title shot. Allin seemingly agreed, as on the January 24 edition of AEW Dynamite Darby pointed out that they were undefeated and deserved a shot, to which Sting replied that he’s “all in”.

AEW confirmed the match will take place on February 7 on Dynamite in Phoenix, Arizona, with Big Bill and Starks confirming on Dynamite that they’ll grant the pair a go at the gold.

Starks and Big Bill have reigned as AEW World Tag Team Champions since October 2023, defeating FTR for the belts and going on to successfully defend them on three occasions… so far.

At Revolution, it is expected that Sting and Darby will take on The Young Bucks, but will the belts be on the line for that one?
