Sting Returns On AEW Rampage

It's STIIIIIIIIIIING!

A certain Icon returned on the June 17 edition of AEW Rampage.

Darby Allin defeated Bobby Fish in the main event of Rampage but the reDRagon man immediately attacked the former TNT Champion after the match, hitting him with brutal forearms. Fish then invited Kyle O'Reilly down to the ring but as Kyle made his way down the ramp with a steel chair, the lights in the arena suddenly went out and when they came back on, Sting was stood in front of a stunned O'Reilly.

The former NXT Tag Team Champion's night then only got worse as Sting suddenly decked him with a baseball bat shot. Meanwhile, Darby gained the upper hand against a distracted Bobby Fish and he Pillmanised Fish's leg, connecting with a Coffin Drop while his ankle was trapped in the steel chair O'Reilly brought to ringside.

This was Sting's first appearance on AEW TV since Kyle O'Reilly Pillmanised The Franchise's leg on the May 18 episode of Dynamite. Sting has been a part of AEW since December 2020 and has been aligned with Darby Allin throughout his run.
