Stipulation Added To Karrion Kross Vs. Santos Escobar On Wednesday's NXT
The match will finally take place
Feb 21, 2021
The planned match between Karrion Kross and Santos Escobar for this Wednesday's NXT will now be a No Disqualification match, per a tweet from brand GM William Regal.
Though the match can't be for Escobar's Cruiserweight title, Regal further noted that if Escobar fails to show up for the match, he will be stripped of his championship, as well as face suspension.
The two were originally set to face off one on one on this past Wednesday's broadcast, but the match was pulled for medical reasons.
To kayfabe it, Escobar appeared in a video that aired Wednesday night, declaring that the match would happen on his time, and not Regal's.
Escobar and Kross have been feuding since January, after Escobar invoked Kross' name in a promo. He then received a tarot card as a warning from Kross and Scarlett.
After Escobar defeated Curt Stallion in a championship match on February 3, Kross attacked Escobar's associates Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde. A week later, Kross laid out both Mendoza and Wilde backstage, after Escobar ordered both to try and take Kross out.
