Strange Lawsuit Filed Against WWE & The McMahons

There has been yet another bizarre lawsuit filed against WWE

WWE is no stranger to being sued or having lawsuits filed against them, with some bizarre ones popping up from time to time, such as last year when someone tried to sue WWE concerning a fan meet-up with Alexa Bliss, among other things. Additionally, 2024 has seen the controversial Vince McMahon alleged abuse lawsuit involving former employee Janel Grant, the multi-million dollar settlement between WWE & MLW, and an attempt at suing WWE and Cody Rhodes over the “American Nightmare” nickname.

Per PWInsider, a lawsuit has been filed by Leland Owens, alleging that WWE owed him unpaid wages and that Linda McMahon’s “role as a senator” was a cover up to the money owed to him… even though she was never actually elected as a senator. It is also stated in the lawsuit that Vince & Stephanie McMahon had disguised themselves agents, stealing his ideas (among them the name of the Stomping Grounds PPV event), and that he’d pitched ideas to Bryan Danielson (named as Daniel Bryan), Triple H, and Mercedes Moné via Instagram DMs, which had been stolen. Both Bryan & Mercedes were supposedly given the role of sending Owens “hush money” for comments made about Stephanie McMahon, which was not delivered.

WWE has not responded to this case as of yet and nothing will likely come of it.
