Adam Cole sad at All In

Adam Cole has been absent from AEW programming since All In 2025 when he relinquished the TNT Championship and questioned his future in the ring. Cole had suffered another head injury in the build up to All In, leading to him not feeling well, forcing him out of his scheduled match on the card.

Tony Khan spoke on Adam Cole’s status when speaking with Ariel Helwani, emotionally explaining what he cared most about Cole’s health, making it clear that Cole was always welcome in AEW in any role. This has sparked plenty of talk surrounding Cole, though things haven’t all been positive. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed that the expectation was that Cole would not wrestle again.

“It’s not great. He’s still having a lot of problems. And as you can hear from the interview (Khan on Helwani), he’s still not flying, which is bad. The day that it happened, Adam Cole was considering going out and just retiring. And he was essentially talked out of it because you just never know but I think the feeling is that he may not ever wrestle again. And it’s a strong feeling in that direction. He’s still dealing with a lot of different things. All the best to him. I think what’s most important is his brain and his head. Wrestling is wrestling but my guess is he’s probably done even though it has not been made official. But we’ll wait and see.”
