Suzuki-Gun Members To Clash In Final Match As A Stable

One last bow for Suzuki-gun

Suzuki-gun will go out with a bang.

Ahead of the faction disbanding, their members will clash in their final match as a stable at the Road to Tokyo Dome show from Korakuen Hall on December 23. The match will see Minoru Suzuki team with Lance Archer, El Desperado, and TAKA Michinoku against Zack Sabre Jr., Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, and DOUKI.

Suzuki-gun's dissolution comes after Minoru Suzuki announced during the World Tag League and Super Jr. Tag League Finals that the faction would disband at the end of 2022 after 11 years together. Suzuki praised the rest of his faction, proclaiming his happiness with their growth.

During the faction's run, Suzuki-gun has featured plenty of popular NJPW talents alongside the current crop of wrestlers, including Yoshihiro Takayama, Shelton Benjamin, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and Takashi Iizuka.

Other matches announced for the December 23 show include Kazuchika Okada, YOH, and Master Wato vs. El Phantasmo, Taiji Ishimori, and Gedo, as well as Shota Umino, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Tetsuya Naito, SANADA, and BUSHI.
