Swerve Strickland Forms New Stable On AEW Dynamite

Swerve Strickland has a stable in AEW

All Elite Wrestling have a new major faction headed up by Swerve Strickland.

Swerve was present on Dynamite as he had a face-to-face with tag team partner Keith Lee mediated by Rick Ross. Strickland had no interest in trying to repair Swerve in our Glory, though, as he quickly told Keith from the rampway that Lee needed to have eyes in the back of his head.

A confused Lee was then suddenly attacked from behind by Parker Boudreaux but The Limitless One quickly dispatched of the former WWE developmental talent. Lee went after Strickland following the attack but he was attacked from behind again, this time by an unidentified individual covered in tattoos. Lee managed to fend him off too but he was eventually put on his back following a chair shot from behind by Parker Boudreaux.

With Lee down, Boudreaux and the unidentified individual proceeded to lie the former NXT Champion across the steel steps and Swerve Strickland decked his former tag team partner with his Double Foot Stomp finisher while a cinder block was on Keith's chest.

Strickland and co. all sported Mogul Affiliates apparel, which was later confirmed as the new stable's name.

Fightful Select reported that the unidentified individual was Granden Goetzman, a former minor league baseball player who was a second-round draft pick by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2011. He played baseball until 2019 but never made it to the MLB.

Goetzman has reportedly been training at Jay Lethal's wrestling school and his debut has been planned for at least the last couple of weeks.

Swerve in our Glory's split comes after months of issues between Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland which ended with Strickland walking out on Lee during their match against Shane Taylor and JD Griffey at ROH Final Battle. This came only weeks after Keith Lee walked out of Swerve during their AEW World Tag Team Title match at Full Gear.
