Tag Team Championship Match Set For WWE NXT The Great American Bash 2021
MSK defend the gold against Ciampa & Thatcher
MSK will put the NXT Tag Team Championships on the line against Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher at NXT The Great American Bash.
The Title bout was confirmed this week on NXT and is set for in two weeks' time.
Thatcher and Ciampa have been involved in a short rivalry with The Grizzled Young Veterans in recent weeks but finally overcame the British duo last week on NXT, defeating them in a Tornado Tag Team Match.
Reigning Tag Team Champions Wes Lee and Nash Carter were shown to be preparing to watch that bout, running into Ciampa and Thatcher in the backstage area, with the latter stealing their popcorn.
Having teased chasing the Tag Team Titles, former NXT Champion Ciampa and his partner Thatcher will now get the opportunity on NXT's next special show, The Great American Bash, which will be presented on Tuesday 6 July.
Also confirmed for The Great American Bash is a singles contest between former Undisputed Era teammates Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly, while Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell will defend their Women's Tag Team Titles on the show as well.
