Tag Team Match Added To WWE NXT New Year's Evil

Two teams will face off at WWE NXT New Year's Evil

A tag team match has been added to the special New Year's Evil episode of WWE NXT.

It was announced on Tuesday that Indus Sher and The Creed Brothers will square off on January 10. The match came about following Julius Creed's win over JD McDonagh on NXT as Veer and Sanga headed to the ring and challenged The Creeds to the tag team bout. Julius accepted the challenge.

The two teams have been feuding since Indus Sher reformed in October, with Sanga and Veer attacking The Creed Brothers soon after. They were originally set to square off at NXT Deadline on December 10 but the match was scrapped due to a storyline injury to Brutus. In reality, Veer was dealing with a minor injury and WWE pulled the match out of an abundance of caution to ensure he would be ready for the then-planned major show in India in January. That event has since been postponed, however.

Check out the updated New Year's Evil lineup below:

  • Bron Breakker (c) vs. Grayson Waller - NXT Championship
  • Indus Sher vs. The Creed Brothers
