Tag Team Moved From Raw To Friday Night SmackDown Following WWE Draft

They might not be the only ones set to move either.

WWE Draft

The 2019 WWE draft culminated on this week's episode of Raw, and yet we already have our first post-draft transfer.

During last night's episode of WWE Backstage, the new talk show hosted by Renee Young and Booker T on FS1, Triple H appeared via video call from the WWE Performance Center.

The Game announced that former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross have been moved from Raw to Smackdown, while also saying: "There'll be some consideration for future draft picks down the line."

Bliss and Cross were drafted separately during last week's Friday Night SmackDown even though the rules of the draft clearly stated that tag teams counted as one pick.

While Triple H's sentiments hint that the selections made during last week's SmackDown and this week's Raw are not set in stone, one has to wonder what the future holds for the Superstars who were not selected by either the USA Network or Fox.

Matt Hardy, Cesaro, AOP, Dana Brooke, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder, Luke Harper, No Way Jose, Drake Maverick, Fire & Desire, Mojo Rawley, The IIconics, and Sarah Logan are all currently without a home.
