Tay Conti Signs With AEW

Will she now join The Dark Order...

All Elite Wrestling added another name to their women's roster earlier today as they announced Tay Conti has signed on the dotted line.

Fans won't have to wait long to see Conti make her Dynamite debut as she will go one on one with former AEW Women's World Champion Nyla Rose tonight.

Conti first competed in an AEW ring during The Deadly Draw, where she teamed with Anna Jay. The new team was successful in the first round against Ariane Andrew and Nyla Rose but they were eliminated from the tournament in the semi-finals after losing to Ivelisse and Diamante.

Conti's partnership with Jay has continued in the weeks since The Deadly Draw and The Dark Order offered the former judoka a contract on the August 29 edition of Dynamite. Tay didn't give the faction a final answer at the time, but she did hug Jay, hinting she will become Brodie Lee's latest recruit.

Conti started her professional wrestling career in WWE and she competed in the company from October 2016 until April 2020, when she was released as part of company-wide cutbacks. She sporadically wrestled on NXT TV during her time with the company and was primarily used as an enhancement talent.
