TBS Title Match Added To AEW Dynamite
AEW Dynamite set to feature a TBS Title match
The June 7 edition of AEW Dynamite is set to a feature a TBS Championship match, with champion Kris Statlander set to put the gold on the line for the second time on TV since defeating Jade Cargill at Double or Nothing on May 28.
Statlander will take on the Jericho Appreciation Society’s Anna Jay A.S. on Dynamite, the first televised singles bout between the two in AEW history. Statlander recently defended the title against Anna Jay at an AEW house show, but the Jericho Appreciation Society’s wildcard demanded a rematch as part of the champ’s Open Challenge policy.
The Best Friends member made her triumphant return to AEW at Double or Nothing, making her unannounced return to accept an open challenge from Jade Cargill shortly after ‘That B****’ defended the TBS Championship against Taya Valkyrie.
