AEW Collision this week was taped on Wednesday following Dynamite, but aired last night (May 17) on TNT. However, fans on both the East & West Coast feeds suffered from the same issues - Collision ended half an hour early, going off the air at 9:30pm on the East Coast initially, before also ending 30 minutes before the planned ending on the West too.
Tony Khan issued an apology on X, though it seems very much like this was a Turner network issue. Despite claiming that Collision would air in full on the West coast following issues on the East, it also ended early there too.
“There are ongoing transmission issues on tonight’s Saturday #AEWCollision, I’m so sorry, we all were expecting a full version to play on @TNTdrama West, but right now an ongoing technical issue that all believed to be fixed is still affecting the transmission of the final half hour even on TNT West. We will get the full show up on @StreamOnMax asap, and I’m very sorry for this hassle!”
In an ironic note, Black Adam starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson began airing half an hour early, taking over the Collision broadcast on both feeds.
