Tegan Nox Reveals Why She Hasn't Wrestled Since WWE Release

What is going on with Tegan Nox?

Nixon Newell (FKA Tegan Nox) has not stepped inside the squared circle since she was released by WWE in November of 2021 and the former NXT star revealed why that was the case on the Sappenin' Podcast.

"I'm in Orlando still. If I leave I can't come back, so I have to stay here for a while. I've been trying to get my green card for the last eight months. I'm in landlock right now, so if I leave then I can't come back. Basically, because I haven't gotten the visa or green card, I can't wrestle. I keep getting messages, 'Have you retired? Have you done this?' No, I just can't. Legally, I can't. I've just been chilling, in the house, playing video games, going to Sad Summer Fest [music festival] a couple of weeks ago, which was phenomenal. Just been chilling with my dogs, chilling with my friends and stuff. Usual stuff that I can do without working," Newell said.

From Wales, Newell signed with WWE in 2017 and she competed on the main roster in the months before her release. The 27-year-old revealed a list of wrestlers she wants to face after her release which featured the likes of Jamie Hayter, Britt Baker, and Serena Deeb, but she has been unable to strike off any names because of her current situation.
