The Butcher Explains Separation Between AEW & ROH Talent

AEW star The Butcher has spoken about the "confusing" split between the AEW and ROH rosters.

Appearing on Josh Nason's Punch-Out podcast, AEW star The Butcher has spoken about the separation between AEW and ROH talent. However, he's admitted that he can sometimes find the situation confusing himself, explaining:

"I think there's like some dudes that are just under the All Elite umbrella, and then there are guys that are just under the ROH umbrella. I know for the most part, a lot of the guys are just under the main thing. So if you're needed at ROH, you can go into ROH and do ROH. But I know there are some dudes that have exclusive ROH deals. It's pretty confusing sometimes."

In March 2022, Tony Khan announced that he'd bought ROH - and as The Butcher has stated, although there is sometimes cross-over between members of both brands, there also appears to be a split between the two rosters. The current ROH World Champion is Claudio Castagnoli, who also features regularly on AEW programming as a member of the Blackpool Combat Club stable.
