Report: Those Close To X-Pac Wouldn't Be Surprised If He Made AEW Appearance

X-Pac may eventually end up in AEW

Sean Waltman - AKA X-Pac - showing up in All Elite Wrestling might not be as unlikely as it recently appeared.

Billy Gunn has revealed that AEW have tried to bring X-Pac in on a couple of occasions but "things just didn't work out." Daddy Ass didn't rule out a future Syxx appearance, though, noting it would be amazing if X-Pac headed to AEW.

In an update on the situation, Haus of Wrestling reported that AEW did reach out to X-Pac about coming in but the WWE Hall of Famer didn't just want to make a one-off appearance. That doesn't mean he won't head to Tony Khan's promotion in the future and those close to Waltman told Haus of Wrestling they wouldn't be surprised if X-Pac appeared on Dynamite, Rampage, or Collision at some point. The 50-year-old is said to be training for an in-ring return, having initially returned in early 2020 before he sustained a torn biceps.

There is no word on what AEW pitched to X-Pac beyond it may have involved working with Billy Gunn. The two stars were members of D-Generation X together during the Attitude Era of WWE.
