The Elite Joke About WWE NXT Spoiler Leak On BTE

Last week, a major spoiler for night two of The Great American Bash 2020 leaked online after Saurav Gurjar of Indus Sher posted a photo from the tapings on his Instagram story. The post was quickly taken down, but it was widely shared online within hours. 

All Elite Wrestling stars Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and "Hangman" Adam Page joked about the leak on this week's episode of Being The Elite. Towards the end of the episode, the camera cut to the four wrestlers sitting in a hotel room and Nick Jackson said: "We might have lost this week, but at least we didn't put up a spoiler on Instagram Live."

The Cleaner and Matt Jackson recognised they would probably get some heat from fans for mentioning WWE again, but didn't say they were going to stop.

"You think the fans are gonna like that one?" Kenny said.

Matt replied: "It's a little on the nose. We'll get a little bit of heat in the comments. 'Don't mention them ahaha.'"

Omega added: "Sometimes I feel like we've gotta stop taking cheap shots but they make it so easy, man. It's like we're playing with children."

AEW and NXT will go head to head again on Wednesday with Fyter Fest 2020 and The Great American Bash 2020. Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy will headline the special edition of Dynamite after Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage was moved to July 15. Adam Cole vs. Keith Lee in a Winner Take All match will main event the black and gold brand's show.
