Report: WWE "Furious" About NXT The Great American Bash 2020 Spoiler Leak

On this week's episode of NXT, the black and gold brand hosted night one of The Great American Bash 2020. Many have praised the show and Io Shirai vs. Sasha Banks was considered the best bout of the night. 

As of writing, only three matches have been announced for night two. Mia Yim and Candice LeRae will continue their simmering rivalry when they go one on one, Drake Maverick will team with Breezango against Legado Del Fantasma and Keith Lee and Adam Cole will face off in a Winner Take All match for the North American Championship and NXT Championship.

The result of the champion vs. champion match was leaked online yesterday after Saurav Gurjar of Indus Sher posted a photo on his Instagram story of Keith Lee standing in the ring while confetti rained down from the ceiling. Gurjar quickly deleted the photo, but it had already been screenshotted and widely shared. 

Some debated whether or not the spoiler was genuine and questioned if WWE was using it as a promotional tactic for next week's show. This doesn't appear to be the case, however, as Bryan Alvarez reported on the Bryan & Vinny show that Saurav posted the actual result of the match on Instagram and WWE was "furious" after finding out about the leak. 

Alvarez said: "I can tell you that it has been made abundantly clear to me that although it seems you could not possibly be dumb enough to take a photograph of the aftermath and put in your Instagram, that is in fact what happened and the company was furious about it."
