The Good Brothers tag team - former WWE, New Japan and TNA stars Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows - have been booked against a surprising pair of opponents for West Virginia-based promotion All Star Wrestling.
The former Bullet Club members are set to take on the veteran Powers of Pain, Warlord and Barbarian. As officially confirmed on Instagram, the match is set for The Bash in Beckley 5, taking place in Beckley, West Virginia on June 7.
Although they also wrestled in Jim Crockett Promotions, the Powers of Pain are probably most known for their run in WWE in the late 1980s. They also had a brief stint in WCW. They are still an active tag team today, wrestling primarily on the independent circuit in the US and Canada.
Gallows and Anderson's latest WWE run ended in February, having returned to the company in October 2022 to reunite with ally AJ Styles. They are two-time Raw Tag Team Champions, and have also enjoyed six combined tag title reigns from their time in New Japan and TNA. Anderson is a founding member of the Bullet Club stable, with Gallows becoming a long-time member also.
