The Hurt Business Reform On September 27 WWE Raw

Back in business

The Hurt Business is back together!

Six months after disbanding at the discretion of then-WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, the group realigned on the September 27 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw as Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin came to the aid of the All Mighty.

The former Raw Tag Team Champions came down to ringside during Lashley's WWE Title Match with Big E, with both wearing 'Hurt Business' t-shirts. The duo were then attacked by New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, with the brawl spilling into the ring and leading to a double disqualification.

Lashley then fist-bumped both Alexander and Benjamin as they walked back up the ramp, while the announcement was made that Lashley and Big E would compete for the WWE Title again later in the night inside a Steel Cage - a match Big E won.

The Hurt Business was formed in 2020 by Lashley and MVP, with Benjamin initially joining the group followed by Alexander. The duo were kicked out by Lashley ahead of his WrestleMania 37 match with Drew McIntyre, but it appears the group have now come back together.
