The IIconics Return On WWE Raw

An iconic return...

The IIconics hadn't appeared on WWE TV since the November 18, 2019 episode of Monday Night Raw when they lost to Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in 140 seconds.

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were pulled from TV soon after, but the former Women's Tag Team Champions returned to the red brand last night. They appeared as the surprise guests on A Moment Of Bliss and promptly demanded a shot at the Women's Tag Team Championships. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross refused to put the titles on the line but a non-title match was quickly booked.

Their time away has seemingly done wonders for Kay and Royce as they managed to vanquish Bliss and Cross in just over five minutes. The two tag teams will face off again next week in a Women's Tag Team Championship match.

Why WWE decided to bring The IIconics back to TV hasn't been officially confirmed, but the Women's Tag Team division only had one active team before their return. Fire And Desire split up ahead of WrestleMania 36, Bayley and Sasha Banks are focussing on defending the SmackDown Women's Championship, and Asuka captured the Raw Women's title last night.
