The Lucha Bros Will Reportedly Sign Exclusive Contracts With AEW In The United States

IMPACT Wrestling, MLW and others could be on the brink of losing out...

It looks like All Elite Wrestling could be about to sign one of the hottest tag teams in professional wrestling today to exclusive contracts in the United States.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer has claimed that Pentagon and Fenix could soon sign exclusive contracts with AEW in the United States, meaning the likes of IMPACT Wrestling and MLW will no longer be able to use the bros.

Here's what Dave had to say on the matter: "None of this is done, but everything I’m kind of hearing is that Fenix and Pentagon are soon going to be exclusive in the United States to AEW.

"I know that the deal that AEW and AAA were trying to make with Phoenix and Pentagon was to get them under contract where they would only work for AAA in Mexico and they would only work for AEW so that would get them out of The Crash [Lucha Libre] and out of CMLL, and it would also mean IMPACT and also MLW.

"And I know that MLW was going under the idea that they’re finishing them up so this looked like maybe the same thing."

Presumably, this potential deal would mean The Lucha Bros would still be free to appear for other companies outside of the United States.
