Has WWE Backlash 2019 Been Renamed "Stomping Grounds"?

Saudi Arabia show appears to have brought about a change in name...

Back on April 23, the supposedly cancelled WWE Backlash pay-per-view had reportedly been rescheduled for June 23. This was apparently due to the fact WWE are running a show in Saudi Arabia at the start of June, so having an event called 'Backlash' so soon after that was a bit... yeah.

Now, it appears that Backlash has been renamed altogether as the Tacoma Dome website has a listing for a WWE event on June 23 called "Stomping Grounds".

The listing specifies that "Stomping Grounds" is a pay-per-view, with two matches currently being promoted (the chances are the following bouts are just placeholders until the actual card is announced).

Here's what the advertisement says:
WWE Stomping Grounds Pay Per View announces the Tacoma Dome event with a chance for fans to see –

ROMAN REIGNS VS. RANDY ORTON

PLUS, UNIVERSAL CHAMPION SETH ROLLINS AND THE NEW DAY’S WWE CHAMPION KOFI KINGSTON

PLUS MANY MORE FAVORITE WWE SUPERSTARS

Tickets start at $25 and go on sale Friday, May 3 at 10 am at the Heritage Bank Box Office at the Tacoma Dome and ticketmaster.com.

We'll have to wait and see if the company confirms this apparent change, or if the Backlash name has indeed survived.
