The Rock Comments On WWE Raw Day 1 Appearance
The Rock has spoken after appearing at WWE Raw Day 1
The Rock recently made his WWE return, with ‘The Great One’ showing up on WWE Raw Day 1 on January 1, 2024.
Rock was the long-teased ‘former WWE Champion’ appearing on the show, interrupting fellow former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and teasing a confrontation with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Following Day 1, The Rock took to X/Twitter to share his thoughts on his return, writing the following:
“It all hits differently. The theme, the crowd, the connection, the reaction, the electricity, the chills. Helluva way to bring in 2024. Grateful, blessed & inspired to forever be, the People’s Champ. @WWE #WWERaw.”
The Rock last wrestled eight years ago, defeating The Wyatt Family’s Erick Rowan in a six-second squash match at WrestleMania 32. His last substantial match came at WrestleMania 29 in 2013, where John Cena defeated Rocky for the WWE Championship in the main event at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Rock vs. Reigns has been talked about for several years, with a clash between the Anoa’i family members a true mega match worthy of a WrestleMania headline spot.
