The Rock N Roll Express Will Present AEW World Tag Team Titles To Tournament Winner

When you think of the greatest tag team wrestlers in the history of the genre, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson come to mind, and they are beyond qualified to be part of any auspicious occasion concerning tag team wrestling.

Morton and Gibson, The Rock 'n Roll Express, will be at

in Charleston, WV, to help coronate the first World Tag Team champions in company history.

The Express will present the championship belts to the winners of the tournament final between SCU (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) and The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix).

The Rock 'n Roll Express have held a litany of tag team titles throughout their near four decades as a duo. In fact, they are actually the reigning NWA World Tag Team champions today, having defeated The Wild Cards at the inaugural Powerrr tapings on October 1.

They've held the NWA belts a total of nine times, including the Mid-Atlantic/Crockett version of those belts on four occasions in the 1980s.

Morton and Gibson were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by on-screen rival Jim Cornette in 2017.
