The Rock's WWE Return Date Reportedly Revealed

The Great One's return to the promotion is on the cards

The Rock will reportedly make his return to WWE at this year's Survivor Series.

The Great One has not been seen on WWE television since showing up on the 20th anniversary of SmackDown in October 2019, but there has been heavy speculation that The Rock will come back to WWE in order to run a big-money match with real-life cousin, and Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

The promotion is reportedly hoping to place this match in the main event of WrestleMania 38 in Texas next year, but there has been no indication from either WWE or the man himself that The Rock is set for a return any time soon.

However, according to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast, three separate sources within WWE have corroborated that the current plan within the company is for The Rock to return at Survivor Series 2021 in November.

This year's Survivor Series would be the 25th anniversary of The Rock's debut in WWE and, while there is no indication that the 49-year-old will wrestle at the event, WWE are hopeful he will be in attendance in some capacity.

Zarian also revealed on the podcast that Survivor Series will take place in Brooklyn this year, although an exact date is yet to be secured.
