Tony Khan Makes WWE Reference During Fan Address After AEW Dynamite

The AEW CEO spoke to the live crowd in Garland, Texas

Tony Khan made reference to the WWE Performance Center during an address to the live crowd at AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest Night Two.

The AEW Chairman made his way out onto the ramp following the end of Wednesday night's live show at Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, and thanked the fans in attendance for being at the show and for sticking around for the AEW Dark: Elevation taping.

Khan would then make reference to WWE's training facility in Orlando, Florida, saying that AEW don't have a Performance Center but, instead, Dark Elevation was their equivalent and their opportunity to give the best young wrestlers in the world a platform to perform.

According to Wrestling Inc, Khan said: "Thank you for being here. We’re just getting started. I want to tell you a little about what’s coming. The first match we’re going to have features one of the top wrestlers in AEW. His name is Jungle Boy.

"We’re gonna have some great matches, including PAC vs. Chuck Taylor as the main event of Elevation. That’s a huge match.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we don’t have a Performance Center in AEW. This is our Performance Center,” Khan stressed. “We have the best young wrestlers in the world and this is where we showcase them."
