The Young Bucks Abandon 'The Wayward Sons' Trademark

The Young Bucks will not carry on with ‘Wayward Sons’ trademark

After earlier registering a trademark for the term ‘The Wayward Sons’, it seems The Young Bucks have abandoned the trademark.

The trademark was registered by The Young Bucks’ company Killing the Business Inc. on November 3 for entertainment and clothing purposes. The trademark was abandoned on November 14 per a report from F4WOnline.

As of writing the reasons for the trademark registration and subsequent abandonment are unclear, save for a throwaway line from an episode of BTE in April 2021 where The Bucks said they wanted to come out to the Kansas classic ‘Carry On My Wayward Son’ for AEW’s House Always Wins house show event.

The Young Bucks have been serving a suspension from AEW since All Out on September 4, and are due to return to the ring at Full Gear on November 19, where Matt and Nick Jackson will team with Kenny Omega to face AEW Trios Champions Death Triangle.

The Young Bucks and Omega were the inaugural Trios Champions, defeating The Dark Order for the straps in a tournament final at All Out.
