The Young Bucks Tease Matt Hardy Is Set To Sign With AEW On Being The Elite

A visit to North Carolina is on the cards...

On Sunday, March 1, Matt Hardy officially became a free agent as his contract with WWE expired.

Soon after, The Broken One released a video on his YouTube channel and explained he decided to leave the company because he and WWE were on “different pages” creatively, as he wanted to go on a “creative renaissance” in the final years of his career which wasn’t possible with the wrestling behemoth.

Reports and rumours have suggested for some time that Hardy is set to be revealed as Dark Order’s Exalted One in All Elite Wrestling, and he could debut in the promotion as early as Wednesday.

The young promotion has only piled onto these rumours as they have published a number on teases in recent weeks, and on last night’s episode of Being The Elite, The Young Bucks received a call from an old friend from North Carolina, where the Hardy Compound is located. The mystery caller told Matt Jackson to fly out to meet with them as soon as possible, and the results of the trip will seemingly be revealed either on Dynamite or next week’s episode of BTE.

Matt himself has also teased he will end up in AEW, as his FREE THE DELETE YouTube series is scheduled to end on Wednesday, ahead of this week’s episode of Dynamite.
