Theory Wins WWE Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Theory has won Money In The Bank

Theory is Mr. Money In The Bank.

The 24-year-old hadn't even qualified for the Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match but Adam Pearce announced before the contest got underway that Theory would be the eighth and final entrant. Theory then constantly tried to sneakily climb the ladder and his plan eventually worked.

It looked like Riddle - one of the fan favourites in Las Vegas - would win the match but Theory suddenly ran up the ladder and smashed The Original Bro's head off the steel, sending him tumbling to the mat below. This left Theory all alone and he grabbed the briefcase to become Mr. Money In The Bank.

The former EVOLVE Champion has been Vince McMahon's handpicked protege on WWE TV since Survivor Series last year and Theory had been United States Champion heading into Money In The Bank but he dropped the title to Bobby Lashley earlier in the evening.

Now, McMahon's protege has a guaranteed title shot at the time of his choosing.
