'There's Interest On Both Sides' - Mark Henry Comments On Braun Strowman Joining AEW

Could Strowman become All Elite?

Mark Henry has opened up on the possibility of Braun Strowman joining All Elite Wrestling, saying 'there's interest on both sides' to get a deal done.

Strowman was perhaps the most surprising name to be released by WWE in the most recent round of cuts from the main roster. The former Universal Champion, who had been built in the WWE developmental system, was let go by the promotion alongside Aleister Black, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett in May.

Former WWE star Henry recently signed a long-term deal with AEW as a analyst for new show AEW: Rampage, and will also be working in talent development. The World's Strongest Man is credited with discovering Strowman back in 2010, and is interested in bringing The Monster Among Men across to AEW.

Furthermore, Henry also hinted the 37-year-old is also intrigued by a switch.

When asked about Strowman by TMZ, Henry said: "Super high on my list. It's not an all Mark Henry decision, but there already is interest on both sides.

"Hopefully, by the time he's allowed to wrestle in August, I think the middle of August, then we can have a serious conversation about contractual things of that nature but right now there's interest on both sides."
