Three title matches were made official for WWE SummerSlam on last night's (July 14) edition of Raw, as the card for the two-day event begins to take shape.

The main event of Raw saw five stars compete in a gauntlet match to earn a shot at WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.

Bron Breakker managed to defeat Penta, LA Knight and Jey Uso, before colliding with CM Punk. Breakker looked like he might have Punk beat thanks to some help from Bronson Reed, but Jimmy Uso came out to even up the odds and the Straight-Edge Superstar bagged the victory following a GTS.

New WWE Women's World Champion Naomi opened up the show with a promo and was confronted by first Rhea Ripley and then IYO SKY, who both laid claim to a title shot after the events of Evolution. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce then came out and made a triple threat match for SummerSlam.

Elsewhere, Lyra Valkyria beat Bayley in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match to book a bout with WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. Lynch and Valkyria had a staredown after the match.

Already booked for SummerSlam were John Cena defending his WWE Title against Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill challenging WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton and a tag match pitting Logan Paul & Drew McIntyre against Randy Orton & Jelly Roll.

SummerSlam will take place on August 2 and 3.
