Thunder Rosa Returning To AEW Soon

Latest on Thunder Rosa

Thunder Rosa will be returning to All Elite Wrestling "pretty soon", but she won't be getting back in the ring just yet.

The former AEW Women's World Champion told Busted Open Radio: "Since we're talking about AEW, I'm probably going to be coming back on the road pretty soon. Not to wrestle, but we're going to be out at AEW and showing face and being around all this stuff. It's going to be nice to be around everyone and see how things unfold."

Thunder has been out of action since August of 2022 with a back injury. She was initially expected to be back in the ring in time for Full Gear but it was noted late last year in an update that she will likely be back wrestling by the end of February.

Rosa initially remained AEW Women's World Champion despite her injury, with an interim title being created, but she was stripped of the belt following Full Gear, with Toni Storm's interim reign being made official. Jamie Hayter was also christened the Undisputed AEW Women's World Champion.

Rosa was backstage at AEW's show from San Antonio, Texas in December. She has been a part of the promotion since the summer of 2020, before signing with AEW one year later.
