Thunder Rosa Returns On AEW Collision

Thunder Rosa is back in AEW

There was a big return on AEW Collision last night, as Thunder Rosa finally made her long-awaited comeback to storylines and action. The former AEW Women’s World Champion, who previously relinquished the gold due to injury before her absence, isn’t targeting the title she never lost though, and has instead set her sights on the TBS Championship scene.

Julia Hart appeared on Collision to try and ambush her current rival Abadon, though Abadon managed to overcome this and attack Hart. This led to Skye Blue, who has been walking the line of turning to a darker character ever since being “misted” by Hart, turned up to attack Abadon. Thunder Rosa, who was on Spanish commentary, jumped up from the booth and came to the aid of Abadon and shook their hand afterwards.

Rosa’s last involvement on AEW programming came when she was shown in Tony Khan’s office ahead of the announcement of Collision, but prior to that she hadn’t competed since the first half of 2022 when she reigned as AEW Women’s World Champion.
