The AEW women’s division is looking likely to get another name back in the mix soon as former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa has revealed that she is cleared to return to the ring following a concussion.

She picked up an injury during a fatal four way number one contenders match on AEW Collision in late August in a match involving Hikaru Shida, Queen Aminata and Serena Deeb, which ruled her out for over a month. On Busted Open Radio, Rosa revealed that she is now back and ready to wrestle, before imploring others to head to a doctor if they suspect a concussion:

“I want to thank the AEW medical [team] and everyone that was involved — I’m finally cleared. If you feel that you have a concussion, please go to your doctor. If you are an athlete, please let your coaches know that this is important.”

Two weeks ago, Rosa hit out at a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter which claimed she was cleared from her concussion. Rosa called this report a lie and said she’d reveal herself when she was finally cleared. The AEW women’s division will also reportedly be bolstered soon by the comeback of Julia Hart.
