Timothy Thatcher To Make AEW Dynamite Debut

Timothy Thatcher to wrestle in AEW on Dynamite

Bryan Danielson will continue his quest to have match-of-the-year contenders next week, with All Elite Wrestling announcing that The American Dragon will square off with Timothy Thatcher on the February 1 edition of Dynamite.

Danielson must win all of his matches until February 8 to earn an AEW World Title shot against MJF. Danielson has already defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Bandido, and Brian Cage and if he continues to emerge victorious, he will face MJF in an Iron Man Match at Revolution.

Thatcher previously wrestled on WWE NXT from February 2020 until August 2021. He then transitioned to a WWE coaching role before being released in January 2022. Since then, Thatcher has returned to the ring, competing regularly in Pro Wrestling NOAH. He unsuccessfully challenged Kaito Kiyomiya for the GHC Heavyweight Championship in November.

Also set for next week's Dynamite is Jon Moxley vs. Hangman Page, an Acclaimed match, and a No Holds Barred clash between Darby Allin and Samoa Joe for the TNT Championship.
