Title Change On Latest Episode Of ROH TV

A major upset occurred on ROH TV

As seen on the latest edition of Ring of Honor TV, Tony Deppen is the new ROH TV Champion after defeating Tracy Williams in the main event.

Williams came into the bout as a double champion, also holding the ROH World Tag Team Titles with Foundation team-mate Rhett Titus, but Deppen made sure Williams reign as a dual champion was brief after his main event win.

The bout was a back-and-forth hard hitting affair, but Deppen reigned supreme after pinning Hot Sauce with a modified arm drag roll-up cradle in what can only be described as an upset.

Deppen is now in the history books as the 21st Ring of Honor Television Champion since the belt’s inception in 2010. However, the exact date of Deppen’s win is unknown, due to Ring of Honor block filming episodes of ROH TV during the empty-arena Covid-19 period.

This is Deppen’s first title in ROH, with the former Stokely Hathaway joining the promotion in 2020, although he had unsuccessfully challenged for the TV Title when Dragon Lee was champion.
