Report: AEW Not In Talks With Daga

"Zero discussions" have taken place between either side

Tessa Blanchard's wrestling future has been a hot topic over the past few days ever since a report from SEScoops noted All Elite Wrestling were close to signing the former IMPACT World Champion and her husband Daga. The promotion even reportedly discussed having Blanchard debut with a 'redemption storyline' on TV.

Multiple reports have since emerged stating that AEW is not in talks with Blanchard, though, meaning it is unlikely The Queen Of The Carolinas shows up in Jacksonville anytime soon.

The status of talks with Daga remained unknown, but a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider noted AEW has had "zero discussions" with the former AAA Latin American Champion or Blanchard and there hasn't been any talk within AEW about potential creative for either of them.

Daga is currently a free agent, having been granted his release by IMPACT Wrestling back in October 2020. Dave Meltzer recently wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he was close to signing with an American promotion, but that company seemingly won't be AEW.
