Ortiz: An AEW Trios Title Would Be Awesome For The Roster

There has been a great amount of support for the creation of an AEW Trios Title both inside and outside of the promotion and Inner Circle's Ortiz can now be added to the list of people who would like to see the belts come into existence. 

Ortiz said on the Battleground Podcast: "There are so many people on the roster and having a belt like that or a tournament or whatever they decide to do, it would be beneficial to get the spotlight on guys that haven't had the opportunities to showcase what they can do. If you keep up with Elevation or Dark, you'll see a small part of what some people can do, but all we need is more time. If people have more time, you can truly see how talented our roster is. Implementing [a Trios Title] would be awesome and beneficial for the workers."

If a Trios Championship will be created ultimately remains to be seen. AEW President Tony Khan did say back in December, though, that he was "seriously thinking" about introducing the title "most likely" in 2021. 

The company has several three-men teams who could compete for the gold, including Best Friends and Orange Cassidy, Jurassic Express and Death Triangle to name a few.
