TNA's Slammiversary pay-per-view will have multiple surprise appearances.
PWInsider has reported that TNA are bringing in one of the promotion's hall of famers for a role at Slammiversary, although it is unknown who the TNA Hall of Famer will be.
Those inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame since it was created in 2012 include Sting, Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, Earl Hebner, Gail Kim, Abyss, Ken Shamrock, Awesome Kong, Raven, Traci Brooks, Rhino, Bob Ryder, Mickie James, Team 3D, Mike Tenay, Don West, and The Beautiful People. Bob Ryder and Don West were inducted posthumously. ODB will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame as part of the 2026 class.
Word of the TNA Hall of Famer's appearance emerged after it had been reported a former WWE talent who is a former multi-time singles champion will make their TNA debut at Slammiversary. It is unknown who the wrestler will be.
TNA Slammiversary will air from Boston's Agganis Arena on Sunday, June 28. The show will begin at 3 pm ET and there may well be a TNA World Title change as world champion Mike Santana's contract is currently scheduled to expire in July and the belief is he will be leaving the promotion for WWE. Santana will defend the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth at the pay-per-view.
