TNA IMPACT Return Episode Averages 112,000 Viewers

Following the promotion's return to the TNA Wrestling name at Hard To Kill, TNA aired the first episode of TNA IMPACT in several years on Thursday, January 18 on AXS TV in the United States.

The rebrand brought a boost in viewership with it as the January 18 episode averaged 112,000 viewers, according to SpoilerTV. The show also averaged a 0.02 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, enough to rank #132 among cable originals for last Thursday.

The show drew TNA's best viewership since September 28. The promotion hadn't broadcast an episode of all-new content since mid-November due to production upgrades and other preparations around the TNA Wrestling rebrand to kick off 2024.

The January 18 show featured a critically acclaimed main event of Will Ospreay vs. Josh Alexander II, with Alexander picking up the win to tie their TNA/IMPACT series at one win apiece. Elsewhere, the Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Eric Young and Frankie Kazarian with Kazarian turning heel, and Xia Brookside picked up a win over former Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz.

TNA IMPACT will continue to air on AXS TV in the United States, although the promotion are looking to secure a major TV deal
