Frankie Kazarian Turns On Eric Young On TNA IMPACT

TNA IMPACT saw Frankie Kazarian turn on Eric Young

The first IMPACT episode of the new TNA era aired on January 18, an episode that featured TNA original Frankie Kazarian turning heel.

Kazarian was teaming with fellow TNA OG Eric young against The Grizzled Young Vets, with the team of James Drake and Zack Gibson picking up the win after a breakdown in communication between Kazarian and Young.

Young had accidentally punched Kaz during the bout, and after Young ate the pin a frustrated Kaz laid him out with a stiff clothesline, then continued his assault as the crowd chanted “a**hole’ at him. Kazarian told Young that 2024 was meant to be ‘his’ year, then punctuated his assault with a Fade to Black on the former TNA World Champion.

Kazarian returned to TNA full-time at Hard to Kill 2023 after spending the previous several years in All Elite Wrestling. Since returning, Kaz has made it clear he wants to finally win the TNA World Championship, with Kazarian failing to defeat then IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander after enacting Option C and vacating the X Division Champion in October 2022.
