TNA Wrestling made their way to Atlanta, Georgia for their latest round of TNA IMPACT TV tapings on December 14, with the fallout from Final Resolution and the build to Genesis featuring during the sessions.

These were the last TV tapings for 2024, with the next five weeks of TV set to be built from this set to tapings, with some ‘best of 2024’ specials believed to be in the works.

SPOILERS AHEAD

After earning a TNA World Championship shot at Final Resolution, Joe Hendry will face champion Nic Nemeth at Genesis. Nemeth was cutting a promo on the champ when Nemeth’s brother Ryan interrupted Hendry, with ‘The Hollywood Hunk’ then going on to face Rhino in singles action. Nemeth got the DQ win over Rhino, but the two would clash again during the tapings when Rhino and Hendry defeated the Nemeth Brothers in tag team action.

The animosity between Hendry and the Nemeths didn’t end there, with Ryan eating a Standing Ovation later in the tapings, Hendry eating a Nic Nemeth superkick for his troubles.

Ace Austin declared his intentions for the TNA World Championship after a singles win over KUSHIDA, but instead found himself the target of X Division Champion Moose, with Austin calling Moose a ‘piece of s***’ after Moose invooked the name of the injured Chris Bey. Santino Marella greenlit a title match between the two at Genesis for the X Division title. Moose would later throw the X Division title down during the tapings, announcing a ‘new title’ would be unveiled at Genesis.

Mike Santana’s problems with Josh Alexander and The Northern Armory continued, with Santana interrupted during a promo by the group. Santana took on the Northern Armory in a gauntlet match, overcoming Judas Icarus and Travis Williams before the match was thrown out due to a three-on-one beatdown of Santana. Later in the tapings the two sides bickered on the mic, with an I Quit match between Santana and Alexander set for Genesis.

Jordynne Grace cut a fired up promo after being screwed at Final Resolution by a returning Tessa Blanchard. Blanchard soon made her presence felt, attacking Grace once more as the two engaged in a pull apart brawl. A singles match has been sanctioned for Genesis, with both women appearing later in the tapings to angrily throw their weight around.

The trio of Eric Young, Jonathan Gresham, and Steve Maclin defeated The System in trios action, but the group of Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, and JDC responded with a vicious beatdown of the faces, taking out Gresham by running him into the ringspost with a chair around his head and neck.

The tapings ended with TNA World Tag Team Champion the Hardys defeating PCO and Sami Callihan. PCO was aid to have been helped to the back after the bout.
