Several matches announced for TNA Genesis 2025 during recent TV tapings

The first year of TNA Wrestling 2.0 is nearly over, and at the latest set of TNA IMPACT TV tapings the company set up several matches for Genesis 2025.
Genesis is set to take place at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas on January 19 2025, airing live on TNA Plus, and the following matches were set-up during the December 14 TV tapings.

Ace Austin declared his intentions in coming after the TNA World Championship, but was cut-off by X Division Champion Moose. TNA DOA Santino Marella then confirmed the two will clash for the X Division Title at Genesis. Moose threw the title belt down later on in the tapings, saying a new title would debut at Genesis.
Tessa Blanchard made a surprise and controversial return to TNA at Final Resolution, brawling with multi-time Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace. During the IMPACT tapings, Grace came down to commentary to angrily send a message through the headset, with Blanchard later responding in kind. The two look set to clash at the PPV, after engaging in a pull apart brawl during the tapings.
After weeks of clashes between Mike Santana and The Northern Armory, the Armory’s leader Josh Alexander took the mic to cut a promo but was met buy Santana, with the two going back-and-forth before setting up an I Quit match between the two at Genesis.
Joe Hendry will once again face Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship at Genesis, with issues further simmering between the two on IMPACT. Nic’s brother Ryan got involved, Hendry laying out the ‘Hollywood Hunk’ with a standing ovation before eating a superkick from Nic for his troubles.
In the Knockouts Tag Title scene, champions Spitfire will put the titles up against Ash & Heather By Elegance.
