Green made history at SNME

Chelsea Green made history at Saturday Night's Main Event when she beat Michin to become the first-ever WWE Women's United States Champion.
Speaking with Byron Saxton after her title triumph (in a video released on WWE's social channels), Chelsea noted that she had worked hard to become an 'overnight success', saying:
"Well, Brian, I always knew this was going to happen, so I know you're surprised, and that's so cute, but I'm not. I've been doing this for ten years. I worked my entire life to be an overnight success, and this is my time. This is my night, red, white, and Green". Asked how it felt to add her name to the history books, Green continued:
"I would say, 'Duh'. I'm in the history books where I belong. I should have been there three years ago, but I was released. I should have been there in 2015, but I wasn't hired. So now is the time. Now is the freaking time!".
The new champ will not be able to perform at GCW's upcoming show at the Hammerstein Ballroom, as WWE blocked the promotion's attempt to book her.
