TNA Plans For Matt Hardy Revealed

Matt Hardy's TNA plans revealed

Only a couple of weeks after he became a free agent, Matt Hardy made his return to TNA Wrestling to close out Saturday night's Rebellion pay-per-view. Moose successfully defended the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth in the main event and Hardy was revealed as the lights out surprise following the match as the once again-Broken one laid out Moose and held up the TNA World Title to end the show.

TNA held TV tapings of TNA IMPACT on Sunday, April 21 and the taping was opened by Nic Nemeth, who questioned what was left for him after losing to Moose. This brought out Matt Hardy, who said he was planning to go after the TNA World Championship, at which point a clip of Nic Nemeth getting his shoulder up before the three count at Rebellion was shown on the titantron. This led to a back-and-forth promo exchange with The System after Moose and Co. interrupted the two babyfaces.

Nic Nemeth was in action later at the taping, losing to Eddie Edwards following interference from Moose, who decked Nemeth with the TNA World Title. It was later announced that at the Under Siege TNA+ special on May 3, it will be Matt Hardy & Speedball Mountain (Mike Bailey & Trent Seven) vs. The System of Moose, Brian Myers, & Eddie Edwards.

How long Matt Hardy will be a part of TNA Wrestling is unknown. The former WWE and AEW talent noted following Rebellion that he remains a free agent.
