The usage of 'premium live events' within professional wrestling is expanding beyond the WWE bubble.

WWE have labelled their pay-per-views as 'premium live events' since January 2022, with the use of the phrase becoming popularised since Day 1 due to WWE's major events primarily airing on streaming services, whether that be Peacock in the United States or the WWE Network internationally. WWE's 'premium live events' also remain available to order on pay-per-view.

IMPACT Wrestling has now adopted 'premium live events' too. The promotion has relaunched their IMPACT Plus streaming service as TNA+ ahead of promotion becoming TNA Wrestling once again from Hard To Kill on January 13. In an advert for the service, the promotion's former IMPACT Plus specials have been labelled as 'premium live events'.

These events will air on TNA+ while the promotion's major shows like Hard To Kill, Rebellion, Slammiversary, and Bound For Glory look set to remain on pay-per-view.

TNA Wrestling's next TNA+ special is scheduled to be No Surrender on February 23. The show will air from New Orleans, Louisiana. TNA Wrestling have yet to announce any events for 2024 beyond February 24, which will be the post-No Surrender set of TV tapings.

Several matches have already been announced for TNA Hard To Kill.
